Why would I want a glow in the dark rosary?
You might think glow in the dark rosaries or anything glow in the dark is just for kids. I disagree. I’m in my 30’s and I love to pray as I lay in bed, in the dark, when all I can hear outside are the sounds of crickets and howling coyotes. Our glow in the dark rosary is perfect for those times when you want pray in the night but not lose your place. The soft glow of the beads prepares your eyes for sleep as you pray.
The famed Chapelet’ D’ Ambert created this classy Lady of the Miraculous Medal rosary.
I recently visited the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Paris and attended Mass. The Blessed Virgin appeared here to Saint Catherine Labouré with the words O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. The medal which accompanies this glow in the dark rosary contains these words along with an image of Mary, and the year 1830, which is the year the Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré.
What makes this Rosary extra special is that it was was crafted by the famed Chapelet’ D’ Amberth which has been making rosaries since the 19th century! As soon as I this spiritual gem at the chapel, I knew I had to hand-carry it back from France. The piece features imitation quartz beads, a small crucifix, and a medallion.
The length of this rosary is just over 19″. The length of the crucifix is approximately 1 1/2″. It glows beautifully in the dark!
