How I acquired this Saint Faustina Rosary.
The moment I stepped into an old church in Krakow on a cold wintry day earlier this year, the shininess of this Saint Faustina Rosary caught my eye. The bright colors of red and white are the colors of the Polish flag. They are also the colors from Divine Mercy image, which came to Saint Maria Faustina, one of Poland’s most beloved Saints, in a dream. This Saint was a woman of great faith who conversed with Jesus and shortly before her death in 1936, predicted the coming of a terrible war. Years later, this image would be revered by millions of Catholics around the world.
Pray with the image of Divine Mercy.
In addition to the bright plastic beads, this medallion features the Divine Mercy image on one side and an image of Saint Faustina on the other. When I hold this uplifting piece in my hands, I am reminded to seek the intercession of this Holy Polish woman who is surely praying for me in heaven.
Here is a famous saying from a collection of Saint Faustina quotes: “Suffering is the greatest treasure on earth; it purifies the soul.”
Length measures approximately 21″ and Crucifix is approximately 1 3/4″.
