Saint Christopher is the Patron Saint of travelers
I love the story of Saint Christopher, Patron Saint of Travelers, who long ago, assisted people with crossing a dangerous river in Greece. One time he helped carry a child across the river. The child then revealed himself as “Christ Your King” before vanishing. Eventually Saint Christopher traveled to another country to comfort some Christians who were facing severe persecution. Saint Christopher was martyred himself after being brought before the king.
We remember the life of Saint Christopher on July 25th in the Catholic Church and on May 9th in the Orthodox Church.
Saint Christopher, Patron Saint of Travelers, pray for us!
